Cellulite is a chronic condition that affects 80-90% of women and has a measured effect on quality of life. Cellulite is a common affliction in which the skin acquires an orange peel appearance, usually in the thigh and buttock areas. Cellulite appears due to alterations that occur in the adipose tissue and the microcirculation as a result from blood and lymphatic disturbances, causing fibrosclerosis of the connective tissue.
